CoolSculpting by Zeltiq: The Movie!

It seems that exercise and proper diet are not that really effective in eliminating unwanted fats! Stubborn, excess fat – in the waist, thighs and the back – are sights that not too many of us are keen of displaying. Worst still, these deposits are immune to diet and exercise. As a result one won’t always feel confident about himself, let alone fit on his old jeans or shirts.

The good news is there is an excellent, non-invasive solution to this problem—the new contouring treatment called CoolSculpting.

CoolSculpting does not require any procedure. It makes us of the power of cooling to eliminate stubborn fat deposits. It is totally safe because it has been developed by scientists at Harvard University. It has been medically-tested and FDA-cleared, so anyone who wants to look and feel good could expect great results with reduced fat and proven results.

CoolSculpting can be performed right at the first visit with the cosmetic doctor. The doctor will initially assess what is really wrong with the patient’s problem. Once the problem has been determined, the doctor will create a treatment plan depending on the patient’s goals and realistic expectations.

Patients are advised to come on their treatment session in comfortable clothing. A gel pad will then be applied before the applicator begins its job of cooling down the area that is between its cooling pads.

Because the applicator will pull in the targeted area via a vacuum, patients will initially feel a firm tug. This will followed by the cold as the cooling begins.

A patient will initially feel tingling as the numbness begins to set in. The cooling triggers the natural death of the fat cells that are being targeted. However, only the fat cells get affected since they have a higher level of sensitivity to the cold.

The fat cells die out and in the next few weeks your body will naturally get rid of these cells. As they disappear the rest of the surrounding tissue condenses. This results in an overall reduction of the fat layer.

Treatments can last anywhere between 1 to 3 hours. There is no downtime as the patient can return to their normal daily routine once the treatment is over.

Side effects can occur. This can include bruising, redness, numbness as well as soreness and tingling. A patient will feel the discomfort but this should all go away after a while.

The ultimate results will be noticeable in the following weeks and months. Patients who undergo this procedure are advised to observe healthy and enjoy good diet for maximum result.
